But not any uranium glass, desu i started with a thrift store find and then found revolver paperweights online and sought out 3 that were different colors under natural light but 2 glowed green and 1 glowed pink. Everything besides those paperweights is purely utilitarian, i wont get something that i cannot use.
Thanksgiving dinner was the first time i hosted a nice fancy dinner and i put UV bulbs in the diningroom chandelier. The only glasses i had at the time were 4oz tumblers and 4 small sour glasses. But i set out candlesticks in glass candle holders, and i put tea candles in uranium glass furniture floor savers. Afterward i acquired 6 10oz cups and a shot glass set because i needed them. Just today I picked up 6 more plates, 5 matching ice cream dishes and an ash tray.
Know how you go to your grandma's or family members place for a nice meal and they sometimes bring out the 'fine china'. I didnt have china and i didnt want to just buy a set of china from a church sale for $50 and have it hidden away in a cupboard. I wanted my 'fine china' to be something that not only looks cool but actually gets used.
