It's not rate cuts that they are looking for, in my opinion. Rate cuts themselves do little to nothing to satisfy their addiction. They want QE, Fed balance sheet expansion. And they believe that if the byproduct of these, lower interest rates/rate cuts by the Fed, is about to happen, that which they truly desire (QE/balance sheet expansion) MUST happen in tandem.
