>>18538907After showering, Carmody stops and takes a look at her phone, about her opponent, Sue Plex, and the woman in yellow who had confronted her at the Divine Mansion: a former Dojo girl herself, by the name of Lightning Nika.Carmody scowls. Colby is "the smart sister," the studious one, like Carmody didn't make good grades herself. But Carmody knows perfectly well how to read and study videos, and for over an hour she does a mini-deep-dive on videos and recaps of Sue Plex and, perhaps more importantly, Lightning Nika. Colby may not be answering her phone, but Carmody's perfectly capable of doing some research and finding her own information.
But it's not fair! Can't Colby help her, just ONCE?
Colby had gone to college, gotten indoctrinated into this weird political agenda, and soured their Dad on the idea of Carmody going too. She'd taken hundreds of dollars from Dad to get set up and established in Spaghetti Town, and Carmody was told time and time again they couldn't spare any money for her to get a new car or nice clothes or even pay for her martial arts lessons, even after she'd graduated high school with grades almost as good as Colby's! Colby always got everything handed to her, then killed the golden goose after that so that Carmody got nothing.
Now Colby has a new rich benefactor living in a mansion, who bought her a Lamborghini and got her modeling gigs, and Carmody's cut off from that too. Carmody loves Colby, at heart. But Colby is a huge leech, taking money and favors from Dad and everyone else she meets, and cutting Carmody out of it all and leaving her with nothing! No doubt, as fellow Divine Angels, Colby and Nika are working together to try to exclude Carmody.
Carmody takes a deep breath. Fine. It's not like when she was a kid and she had to wear Colby's hand-me-downs. She's more than capable of making connections and opportunities for herself, and finding her own way in this world of wrestling.
