Yeah it's just a dip, life is full of dips and peaks. Sometimes feel like you are riding the high and sometimes feel like you are completely mediocre. Just have to endure the dips.
Never heard of term vocal chops before, but pretty sure I have heard them in music before. If you keep at it you will probably have a easier time and get better at it.
