it's different when you want to talk to somebody but have nothong in plan of actually meeting and staying close- you don't want them to leave the only mode of communication you have so you suck it up and stay silent in hopes of avoiding offence, though as time goes by you find it hard to keep it all in so you try first slowly then rapidly releasing the tension
