Intel orgs have to sort through a sea of piss to find actionable intelligence and organize that in such a way they can find durable, unchanging information to set whatever narrative they are presenting to the ownership, management, or leadership on. From there monitoring the ocean of piss for SS Titanic change is relatively simple. It's the slower changes that are harder to figure out and monitor. All of this is done to scope the decisions and capibilities of specific entities and groups, and to understand the decisions they may or may not be able to make. You understand systems of constraints, ability is a lot more predictable.
The problem with unfiltered social media like the chans is it competes with intel orgs to solve those same problems and because the public does it for free, it has massive advantages. This is the reason you see this place get flooded by paid bullshit all the fucking time. Intel and blackops orgs fucking hate the people who are here because we put them out of business; we're smarter, we're better positioned, and we do unbelievable shit like steal lebeouf's flag and fundementally, we make the world less predictable. Ergo, the reason why the intel community started to push the Ch4os Frog magic bullshit onto this place.
