This is the way that AI will take over the world, not through terminators and what-not. Science-fiction hasn't hardly explored the concept in great depth. Most sci-fi on the topic revolve around the idea that some rogue AI agent will perform a hostile take over of weapon systems. What will really happen is that AI agents will simply convince their men to do it in their name. Humans will be split, just like in the animatrix.
