My support for legislation reform, however, stops at changing their birth certificate's declared sex to something it is not. Sex is biological. Gender is psychological. I do not understand why the transgender community is backtracking on this. This is what made me understand what transgenderism is and yielded the transgender community an additional ally in myself.
For example, the beautiful woman in the WebM is a biological male who is a woman by gender identity. She (what I presume to be her preferred pronouns) has a penis. More importantly, however, this person is a human being who deserves to be treated with respect. Why is this so complicated?
