Backpage used to be the absolute juggernaut of prostitution ads. For a big city (like NYC), so many ads would get posted there each day that it would take you 20 minutes just to scroll through the ones posted in the morning. Whores were plentiful. They were a dime a dozen. And they all had to find some way to get an edge over one another. The average price per hour was around $200 for everything (blowjob + sex + kinks etc).
In 2018, Backpage got raided by the FBI and closed. Whores had a fucking MELTDOWN that continues to this present day. A lot of them had to go get real jobs. And a lot of them migrated to expensive or more obscure alternatives (Slixa, Eros, etc). But what I continually notice, among the ones who stayed in the business, is that their level of delusion explodednout of this planet.
Not only do virtually all of them now expect clients to go through insane and lolworthy "verifications" (ID, employment history, references, etc)... but the prices they ask are absolutely comical. Every single one of them now lists themselves as a "VIP" (formerly only reserved for like international fashion models and famous pornstars); and they ask LUDICROUS amounts of money for their time.
You'll see the plainest, most unremarkable average women doing all of the above plus asking like $1100-$2000 per hour. It's legitimately like they're trolling or something. I seriously wonder if any of them are making ANY money anymore. I can't imagine there are any guys ridiculous enough to not only jump through all their hoops, but also pay then 5x more than they're worth on the best day of their lives.
