>>17609288People have a bunch of differing opinions and base their entire world view around it. The only way to untangle the radicalism is as the Iranians understand it, to finally restore the monarchy. The Islamic Republic of Iran is the perfect example, you go from a good monarchy that had the interest of its people in the mind, have some crisis, then some republican demagogues come in and claim they have the solution to all problems because of how educated and close to god and modern they are and all the intellectual idiots swallow it up, and suddenly you end up in idiocracy.
But then there is this idea that this is a pattern of history weak men created hard times etc., but I personally doubt it, as we had a relatively stable monarchy ruling over us for 1000 whereas the republic will just be applied everywhere and fail everywhere until people just naturally return to monarchy like it happened in late antiquity. We have just been tricked into believing that our votes have any power or meaning once they leave the city walls.
