After the initial fury washes over her at the very thought of Miss USA, she thinks of how Amy had come out to back her up and try to make peace, and how she had in turn defended Amy when her other friend, the Yellow Empress, had casually insulted her. That hadn't quite set right with Colby, and she's given it a bit of time, to let any animosity die down and also to sort it out in her own mind. But here, with it on her mind and nothing else commanding her attention, she takes her phone and composes another message.
Text Message to Yellow Empress:

I promise my mind is open.Colby pauses for a second. A single possibility pierces through her mind, and she starts to type out "Forgive me for suggesting this, but you're not jealous, are you?" ..... but NO. She deletes that immediately. Don't even say that.
