>>17659299I just have a little smiths arkansas stone that I carry in my pack when im hunting. Its just 20$ at cabelas (a local outfitter). I have some better stones in my workshop at home. I have never tried using a leather strop, though i think i have one (somewhere, hehe). My dad left me a nice set of sharpening stones, he even hand made the little cedar boxes for them. I dont know what the grit is. They seem to last forever. They are just marked "coarse", "fine" and "very fine".
