Sanctions are economic war waged by the West against any nation that refuses to bend the knee sufficiently to them (north Korea, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Russia, Iraq under Saddam, Serbia under Milosevic etc.).
You misunderstand, Mugabe and ZANU-PF fight for the uplift of native Zimbabwe people. But its a gigantic struggle, kamerad, because the West is determined to destroy Zimbabwe, because Zimbabwe refuses to be a puppet to the Wall Street and London bankers.
Mugabe is a liberation hero.
