Whatever happens, I think a spike of inflation is inevitable at this point. Left wing media is even already preemptively trying to spin inflation as a good thing, because everything is good when Biden does it. Will we be the next Weimar? Maybe, maybe not. But we’re almost definitely at least hitting the 10% inflation levels that happened under Carter. Commodity prices are already pushing us in that direction, and the fed can only lie about a 1.5% inflation rate for so long before people have to take their heads out of the sand because they can’t afford food anymore. It would be neat to see America get back on a gold or silver standard again, but I do think our fiat based economy is going to have to shit the bed pretty hard before that can happen.
