>>21480120>Why have so much christcucks not even read their holy book? The average Christian over the last 2,000 years was illiterate. Even amongst the educated priesthood, many were only reading it in a second language, so reading comprehension was in the gutter. The average Christian basically understood nothing about their religion besides that had to believe in Jesus so they didn’t go to hell. It was a very simple religion for very simple people. It also didn’t expect much of its adherents. Just believe, and maybe give some money to the church or something and you’re good to go. People also gave church authority and traditions the same reverence as the Bible it self, which makes sense since the church fucking assembled it (and probably wrote some of it too). Sola scriptura is a really fucking stupid idea in hindsight considering what we’ve learned about the canonization of the Bible. If you can’t trust the people that made the Bible, how do you trust the Bible? Is the Gospel of Judas also inerrant? The Book of Maccabees. A nonsense idea from Protties that think the Bible was hand delivered by an Angel or something.
Christianity started going off the rails as literacy rates went up, and people started actually reading the Bible. Protestantism was the start, and you soon had Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, footloose, etc. Some Christians started circumcising and following food laws and subscribing to some weird, butchered form of ancient Judaism. Youth pastors with manbuns started saying shit like “Yahweh” and “Elohim” during their rock worship sets. It all eventually got so fucking stupid that Evangelicalism basically killed Christianity among white people, and now only old people go to church.
