If people are ruining the world , removing them won't help because other equally greedy group of people will use the same tactics to take power as the ones who came before.
Even if you do help someone you didn't fix what causes other people like him to suffer.
Curing the symptoms of a social ill will only temporarily solve the problem, as it will regress to the same situation if you don't also fix what causes the ill in the first place.
There is nothing that you can get that will make you happy.
