Messed up my quote in the other post
>>240871246Don't know if you're in this thread, but this will still be a worthwhile read for those here
>But it does. See, this is where you argue your way to murder like I said in the beginning. It doesn't and I already gave you good reason why.
Also, did you just make the jump from not giving someone a type of food to literal murder? You're fucking stupid as hell. Let me break it down for you:
That which is good does what it was meant to do in light of its nature. For example, a good microphone amplifies sound. Let's say a microphone had a rational soul. Let's say this microphone decides it wants to hammer nails whenever you speak into it for some reason. This microphone, which is falling short of its perfection in light of its nature, is sinning.
What I just described is called natural law--the basis of Christian metaphysics.
Now I can't murder someone, because then I would be depriving him of his path toward perfect human nature. I wouldn't be loving him.
Back to the situation you described. A man is trying to fucking murder me. No, I'm not going to give him bread. That doesn't will the perfection of anyone involved. In fact, I stop him from murdering me at all costs. I save him from completing his sin and save myself.
I won't let you twist the words of Jesus who uses metaphors and parables to make points just so that you can make some single digit IQ argument on minute details.
