because i'd like not to struggle with it u kno? i'll read mang all day of my own volition but i'll never do listening practice without consequences persuading me to do it. it's also impossible to know if i'm doing terrible on output without manual review by a native speaker so this is a good opportunity to do it.
i could instead choose to translate yotsuba and get a free A but if i'm already pretty good at that then what's the point of practicing it for 4 months?
