>>23767462>boomer chats>can b>PRICELESS TREASURE>& can be>worth less than>a pile of>JEET POO>in tha>skreetyea i had an encounter last week that really let me know how nice but oblivious boomers can be. There is this guy that is like 70 that runs there that i chat with about running sometimes. He's really into running and is training for a half marathon whereas I just use running as a tool for my overall fitness and usually run shorter distances (2-3 miles usually).
But this boomer that runs at the track always runs while gripping these hand grippers (picrel) and one day I asked him why he runs with those (because he looks like an absolute retard running around while wearing jeans holding these things. And he says he does it for an arm workout while he runs (insinuating that those things give a full arm workout). I something along the lines of "so you are really working on those forearms while you run huh?" and he's like "Yep". Now I will give him credit hes in pretty good shape for his age but hes just a goofball weaving in and out of people clicking those hand grippers while jogging in jeans and a baseball cap training for a half marathon.
Then i show up on saturday to the track and this guy freaking BOUGHT ME THE HAND GRIPPERS with his medicaid bucks because i asked about them the previous week. A very nice, but oblivious gesture. I tried to tell him I wouldnt use them but then appeased him by saying maybe i will use them while watching TV at night but no way was i gonna be running with those like him.
thats my story about my boomoid bro jeff, all in all, nice fella
