>>13339300Oh God, sorry about that. That's grim. I do hear that my old sweetheart is now married and quite well off. To a senior policeman or something. And with several kids. I myself never really "made it" in life, but get by and have more kids than most, and they love me, so these are the consolations we find in life. It's not so bad. It's just not what we were evolved for. Anything that distorts the natural flow of life in the tribe/village is new and uncomfortable in some way. In my case, and that of many others, it's the farce of "having" to go to a university in a different city for a few years that fucked it up. Oh well! We can at least advise our children and younger peers accordingly.
