His life starts with his parents being in an aliend demon cult but truly starts when he gets "attacked by a dog" and is forced to live with a glass eye and a prosthetic face. After the death of his mother his father moves into a new apartment complex with a load of murders (that in the game you help solve as Sal) and end ups living next to Larry (who lives in his moms basement). Larry's mom falls in love with Sals dad and they become step brothers. A couple other characters get pulled in but long story short Larry is destined to carry the Red Eyed Demon (alien demon cult thing) that took Sal's mother but nobody knows it until it's too late. It's a very complex story with a video game, tv series and a few animations but you get the picture. The main draw is the fanart surrounding the ship of Larry x Sal (Sally) even though they're (((SIBLINGS))). While Travis in the game blatantly is denying his gay love for Sal Larry already loves him like a brother and Sal gives off many signs of wanting Larry because he's the only person to show him any acceptance for his disfigurement let alone any kind of physical affection.
Even though Larry kills himself, Sal kills Todd (another guy in the game who carries the demon after Larry KHS) and then Sal gets the electric chair there was never any official ship of Larry x Sal outside of fanart.
