>>9416595a lot of dumb things happened. they had a new revision for one of our contracts. this was released early this morning, way before our shift started. dayshit decided to not even work on it despite having access to all of materials to make sure it gets taken care of but that wasnt the case. by the time our shift started, the engineers and other responsible folks needed to get it fixed already left and they wanted this specific revision to be implemented to all the cars and especially to the car thats on final assembly as of... today. director was wondering why no worked on it and told us to make sure this gets fixed by tonight. well, those wires aren't even on our wire lists or even in the templates. they only exist in blueprints and schematics. i spent a good chunk of time typing out all the information from blueprints to text file. normally its just data input and the machine auto generates the mumbo jumbo into the print. well, we dont have access to that machine. i had to type it all down and manually craft each individual wires and its not those easy to ready texts its like '+219=55E02-xP12 and blah blah blah. those had text had to be verbatem and match the wirelist schematics. it was a headache. proof reading all that and it didnt help that my machine had to be recalibrated because it was currently fixed for a certain types of cables/wires. so i had to break down this machine to make sure its tuned to run these special wires.
tldr: dayshift didnt do their job and i had to do their job with less tools and resources.
lunch break is over, i have to do my meeting.
