Got a tricky decision to make, hope the burgerbros can help me figure this out. Last week i ordered a pair of silver dollars for 60€. A peace 1923 & a morgan 1878. I highly suspected the morgan to be a fake, which it turned out to be, but i was very interested with the Peace one because it was a "Scarface" version, a known broken die error. My plan was to get refunded the Morgan and get the Peace for half the price.
But the seller, on top of unapologetically selling counterfeits, is a complete asshole. He only accept to refund me if i send back both coins. So my question is : is the Peace 1923 "scar cheek" worth more than 60 bux alone? The coin turned out to be in really great condition, and the scar is very typical and with clear outlines. If i can get 100 bux out of her, i'll keep the order, even if i am stuck with a fake morgan on top. What do you think?
