I would personally reply to this because I do have answers, but I am going to bed and will say the shorthand version: go to your local Eastern Orthodox Church and ask a priest to sit down with you and go over these questions (or email them if you cant get to one). our faith is largely unified and unchanged for two thousand years, just pick one and ask them. I know several young men, including myself, who came out of the so called doomer mindset into knowledge of the truth about the purpose of human life: theosis, or the union of man and God.
