I would also prevent this male mosquito from mating, as it seems to be unlikely that he would find a female mosquito within this house, therefore I would not only refuse him food and water but also the most vital part of his life itself.
I have decided to refuse this mosquito entrance to this house, as I believe it would be in his best interest to remain outside for the time being. However, if I was mistaken and this actually is a female mosquito - then the original problem would still remain unsolved.
