Tihamah or Tihama (Arabic: تِهَامَةُ Tihāmah) refers to the Red Sea coastal plain of the Arabian Peninsula.
Tihāmat is the Proto-Semitic language's term for 'sea'.
Whats interesting is that the Babylonians worshipped a Deity also called Tiamat. The Goddess Tiamat is described as a serpent or dragon like creature which symbolizes primordial chaos.
If you see the plains image in pic related, it very wells looks like some type of snake creature stretched across the red sea coast.
Would be interesting to do some excavation along the coast or maybe even inside the red sea itself
