>>10048419it's true, i think the english language has one of the largest or the largest vocabularies in the world. supposedly it's hard to measure because a bunch of petty nitpicky reasons but all those seem like copes to me. on a superficial level it makes sense to me for english to have a larger vocabulary compared to most other languages.
