yeah mostly. being forced to teach people something they're clearly not interested in sounds like a massive pain, especially if them not learning is on your head. all doubly so when you account for having to discipline them and stuff. teaching upper division university classes could be tolerable but it's not something i'm particularly interested in and it defeats the point of being an english teacher anyway since people just do that as an easy way into the country
