At the uni, a lot of good mates became couch potatoes because of the herbal meme.
Then I graduated and I had to work around general populace and everytime you see a benefit monkey with a neck tat and dirty unkempt kids in tow, you smell the weed first.
Progressively I started making this association.
Now, whenever I make those "hippie" friends, it always comes out they have some "mental health issues" and that they fucking chainsmoke the green 24/7. Every. Fucking. Time.
There's a whole culture of making dumb-ass "spiritual" posts online (or just plain SJW outrage) while doing nothing about yourself, cuz "much mental health issues", but thanks God there's the weed to help you out.
Make that comparison. If a joint would equal a can of beer (and it's more than that in fact), how would you look at a guy, who comes home after wageslaving everyday and cracks a four pack till he gets to sleep and starts the cycle a new.
That's how I see potheads.
