Anyways, there are some cornstachy desserts that are actually quite nice, they tend to leave your mouth slightly dry because of the cornstarch

Here we have these small cookies made from cornstach, eggs, sugar and vanilla extract. We call them suspiros. They are somewhat similar to meringues but they keep better in this climate.
