There's plenty of cheap healthy and easy recipes. Maybe try cooking some Chicken Florentine and add some Garlic since that's good for boosting testosterone which in turn helps burn fat.
As for weight loss depends on where the weight is but generally doing core and ab exercises are great for burning body fat.
Pic related is a Hyper Bench, try getting into that JUST make sure not to overly extend your back upwards since that's bad but there's plenty of other alternatives at your gym if they don't have that.
Also don't be afraid to ask instructors how to use certain machines if they're willing to do that, it's better to ask rather than guess and hurt your body by doing something wrong.
