The flavor is 3 cheeses. The chips are quite dry with the powdered flavoring being subtle. You'll notice the inside of the chips are hollow once you bite into it so it's visually misleading. I can barely differentiate the 3 types of cheeses used but it doesn't taste like the regular cheese from the classic doritos. One interesting flavor note for these chips is the bolder corn taste since the chips are thicker. I shared some with others and it seems this stronger corn flavoring of the chips seemed to leave a distaste for them so I suppose 3D doritos appeal to a niche flavour pallette. For a better idea with what the chips taste like using a comparison it would be cheese taquitos.
