When she was thrown into her watch, Ash was neglectful and uncaring. But at that ONE key moment, she was controlling and unwilling to communicate.
No matter how little sense it made and how much Ash had convinced herself there was never going to be any other outcome, deep down, Romero felt a considerable amount of responsibility for how things shook out.
