>>21221299I've never understood why people see traveling as some kind of achievement when all you do is pay money and get on a plane. It's fun to experience new places every once in a while but I find the people who make it their identity are usually the most basic and boring people around who are never content with their life.
Going to the cafe down the street is boring but if it's in Paris suddenly it's an amazing experience that broadens your horizon. People are the same everywhere because they're still just people. If anything travel has made me realize how awful conditions are in many parts of the world in regards to personal safety, food sanitation, traffic laws, etc.
