I remember a couple decades ago when a neighbour's kid pushed over a 90-year-old man and laughed at him. When he got home and his mother got wind of it, she screamed at him just for him to taunt her, so his dad took him behind the house and beat the ever-living shit out of him. He apologized to the man the next day and never showed any form of violence against anyone, today he's married to a friend of mine and a father. Things could have gone very differently without the necessary action.
