>>22115769yeah i do firmly believe that the way you perceive things in this life greatly affect how you live it and that like 90% of troubles that you face are self-inflicted and can be easily avoided given you're in the right state of mind so blaming others for that would just be silly and outright stupid, the only group of people that can really fuck your life up for no sane reason is the government but this problem is a lot more existential and has been around for as long as people have been grouping up into tribes so getting into this crap can really make some of your screws go loose so i just tend to ignore that and focus on things that i actually have at least some agency over but yeah in any case i absolutely agree that being a nice guy in spite of your personality and your beliefs is never a good thing and there's always a balance between being socially acceptable and genuine so that's not something i bother myself with either, i just know and understand that some people live their lives the way i would find wrong and that's okay because those same people would find my way of living wrong so we agree to disagree and it all cancels out and my life enjoyment levels are being unaffected because trying to appease everyone is just impossible so the less you care the healthier your soul remains
