Most other points addressed are just pointing out obvious facts like this that nobody would reasonably disagree with and calling it an argument, while largely missing the point. I do agree that MtF trans people are biologically male and nothing will change that, and vice versa. You can't change genetics. The thing that this seems to miss is that being transgender is more of a mental issue than a physical one. Brain scans show that there are verifiable differences between the minds of people who identify as trans and those who don't. It's not just some fad, it's a documented phenomena. Some people are just born with a mind that makes them believe they aught to be the opposite sex. It's not very well understood, but it comes with a higher risk of a wide range of other mental health issues also.
Given the circumstances, it doesn't really bother me much if trans people wanna identify as the opposite sex. I dunno why people make so much of a fuss about it, it's not our problem, it's theirs. I'm hesitant to tell anyone how they aught to live their lives, especially when they have mental health issues that I can't even comprehend. Just my two cents.
