Where would you move to get a decent quality of life, while also paying as little taxes as possible?
https://euronerd.com/taxes/countries-in-europe-with-no-capital-gains-taxes/What I am thinking:
>GermanyVery low tax, if you choose the Regelbesteuerungsoption and only have little income (decent life in Eastern Germany with 250€ rent in some Commie Block). Health insurance is kind of expensive, though (180€ a month minimum).
>BelgiumTrue zero capital gains taxes, although there is a small FTT. Low cost of living (comparable to Germany). Downside: Crowded and maybe I would have to learn French.
Countries that can fuck off, despite looking good on the surface:
>SwitzerlandExtreme cost of living, foreigners NOT WELCOME, unless you are Albanian.
>LuxembourgEssentially expensive Belgium.
>NegerlandeInsane wealth taxes. Effectively you pay 30% on 6% fictional gains of your wealth (~2% taxes). Still better than Austria, but cancelled out by extreme real estate cost.
Countries that MAY be an option, despite looking bad at first glance:
>SwedenTax wrapper account lets you convert the insane capital gains tax to a reasonable wealth tax (30% on 3% fictional income, so effectively ~1%).
