>>12595940well despite everything i've been saying so far i think english voiceovers don't take nearly enough creative liberty with translating stuff. anime reaction sounds and yelling about nothing is tolerable in japanese or through an ESL accent because that's just an exaggeration of how japanese people actually talk, but it's insanely cringe to hear someone do it in english. for some reason though removing those sorts of things is where translators/localizers draw the line. it leaves english voiceovers for games/anime with a KYAA THAT IS SO KAWAII DESU NE feeling even when they're only speaking english
game started straight up crashing in one of the areas so i guess i'm waiting on a patch after all
