What I mean is, hope that doesn't discourage you from cooking more. Definitely should.
You probably wouldn't even be able to make an okay egg if it were your only time ever, I'm pretty sure.
Important part is to keep doing it, and what do you know, maybe if you make the same dish a couple or so more times, you'll have a good version of it on your hands. Which sounds like it'd be satisfying.
