>>20872728Ahhhh the good old powerplay between mother and child as it grows up.... I guess nobody is to blame. Quite a lot of mothers can't accept when their child starts having a mind of their own. More so with boys than girls since girls often use the mother as a role model, but for boys it's the opposite. She just wants you to do what she says because that's how it's always been. I guess I'm glad my adoptive mother was never like that, quite the contrary even. No boundaries no nothing. She later came to regret it but never really reclaimed that freedom she gave me. I guess it stems from not wanting to create friction between me and her since there was no family bond to keep it together, and a busy work schedule
