those poltarded revistionist vids (to save THE WEAST from being queer) with the the shit-eating grinner are premised mainly on some idiosyncratic interpretation of "eros", which is sexual (vs philia), as "friendship" (as if that precludes sexual contact) and bases this only on assertion/"trust me, fellow nazis". additionally, he draws sweeping conclusions on "the romans" and "the greeks" attitudes towards "homosexuality" based some statements by a few writers that express their own personal displeasure rather than convey or indicate a widespread homophobia. much of that displeasure is to very specific behavior than just blanket "homosexuality", e.g. kinaidos/cinaedus who would sing, dance (twerk), and annoy people like a sex pest. one of the passages mr shit-eater used about the supposed sin of "effeminacy" used mentioned a kinaidos but isn't even condemning them and seemed like a cheeky comment about their sexual vociferousness contrary to prettiness and femininity suggesting passivity (on various counts).
in both of those videos, there isn't one mention of erastes and eromenos and intercrural sex, which would undo that entire notion of "eros = friendship" and the (widespread) convention of pederasty as tutelage without romance.
the classicist scholar ammon hillman, who actually can read greek and latin, has done deep dives into to the actually (untranslated) texts and the reality, for smug-faced right wingers, was far "worse".
