https://archive.palanq.win/bant/thread/18870705/#q18892129>[Having finally showered and into her workout gear, Sola heads out from the back area. The corridors are still freezing. What the heck happened out there?]She knows that Carmody is nearby, and presumably there is a long day ahead of her. Sola's mind wanders to Carmody, and last night. The, uh, penguins were a surprise, but Ash and Maria had fallen to Sola and Karna, and now Sola knows that she's in for a really tough fight. At a fork in the hallway, some raised voices are coming from the left, toward reception. All manner of weirdos try and get in here sometimes. But Sola is heading right, toward the training area, and toward Carmody.
There isn't enough time to work out just how Sola feels about Carmody. Or more still, how Carmody feels about Sola. If Carmody feels anything for Sola... Carmody is of course really pretty, but she just seems... nice. It's been such a long time since Sola had anything to smile about -- the bull-poop from Cassie Kade, Sheila's firing, her falling out with Violet, Nikki in the park. Sola is smiling more these last few weeks than she can remember. Carmody is just so sweet, and in a similar-ish spot of her career to Sola. She's nice to look at, and nice to be around, and she... just makes Sola smile. Sola wonders if she has said the word 'smile' too much. Nonetheless, Sola hasn't really had anyone to smile about since the first time she saw -- Sola rounds a corner and bumps directly into something. Or, as it is, someone.
