Reoccurring features are sounds such as humming, hissing, static, zapping and buzzing noises during sleep paralysis.
Other sounds such as voices, footsteps, whispers and roars are also experienced.
One feels pressure on their chest and sometimes intense pain during an episode.
Many see, or sense an intruding presence or dark figure in the room, suffocating, and inducing an abject terror, accompanied by a feeling of pressure on one's chest and difficulty breathing.
