There are tons of videos of cops, people extensively trained in firearms, suffering malfunctions and needing fix it in the middle of a firefight. If a revolver doesn't fire, you just pull the trigger again. Also, if someone grabs your gun, the slide won't move and the next round won't feed. That said, semi-auto pistols are better.
