If you're really convinced that you die for good when you die then you have much less to worry about than someone that believes in an eternal consciousness. I used to have a hard time accepting the idea that death might not be the end. I even struggled with this as a Christian. Now I find myself in a place where the idea of nonexistence is more comfortable than anything else but I don't believe that to be the case. I'm constantly worried an anxious not about dying but about not dying. If you believe in your heart you are at peace when you die then don't worry, it won't hurt, it won't be hard, you won't miss anyone or anything, you won't feel excluded, you won't feel stupid, or useless or sick or any of the terrible things we all feel all the time. You're free of all that so take solace in that, you get to rest.
