in a sense a lot of the stuff we do is to protect the time and option to have recreation instead of having to work all day with no play for shitty food just so we can sleep in uncomfy beds
it woukd be irrational to play vidya all day, never do anything in real life, waste your time and at the end of the day not even feeling pleassure or even a modicum of happiness from playing games
if you're not even streaming it for neetbux you're performing a senseless chore that serves no purpouse whatsoever - then and only then may you call it irrational
being ignorrant in reasoning behind one's actions isn't ad hoc irrational if atleast on the subconciouss level theres a moderate amount of reasoning and logic taking place to justify your actions, people are salty when they do all work that offers them nothing in return of pleassure or reducement if suffering, but hell people still commit themselves to suffering in exchange for some happiness you can clearly see to which side the scales are tipped
