>>11708706Where you live? What do you think about living in Mexico? I was in Mexico for 6 months before COVID happened and it was a good time but a mexican girl I met and traveled with told me stories of her family members getting robbed/kidnapped and one time while traveling in a combi in the mountains south of Oaxaca we came an overturned Chevy Suburban and went to help the guys. The guys staggered out of the SUV & pulled out automatic rifles & bulletproof vests and told us to get along, they were obviously drug runners.
We were on our way to puerto escondido and later that day we talked with a taxi driver who was held and gunpoint and forced to drive all the way to mexico city. And our airbnb host was an old man who's son was a police officer who was executed.
Anyway, my point is I had a good time overall but it seems like everyone has a fucked up story living in Mexico. I want to go back but dunno if it is foolish to spend too much time in mexico or not.
