If you want to change her political opinions do not tackle them head-on. Instead BE the change you want to see in the world and do not ever compromise. Women respect men who are strong and despise weak men. When you DO what you say you believe you show your strength. When you refuse to compromise you show your strength. She will follow you. She may make all the rad fem noises in the world, but she will follow you.
Most importantly of all do not ever ever ever make it into any kind of contest. Contests can be lost. If you even appear to lose ground (in her mind, not in your mind not in reality) then you have already lost because in her mind you appear weak.
