>>23294479>>23294483>>23294486Would make sense to me, Russia is slowly withering away in an unwinnable war in Ukraine, they are also looking to pick fights with Poland and other nearby states because eternal war is really the only way Putin can legitimize his regime at this point. We have proof they’ve been funding talking heads who’ve pushed the “civil war 2.0 is coming” motto since trump’s first term, ideally a fractured America is in their interest. The problem of course is America isn’t really fractured along micronationalist lines like the Soviet Union was in 1989. I suspect the “America is almost on the brink of collapse” narrative is at least in part believed by Russian intelligence agencies as they have a long and bad history of believing their own propaganda is fact. (I.E. Kyiv will fall in two weeks, the Ukrainian people will welcome regime change with open arms, just take the airstrips and fly/drive in the troops what could possibly go wrong?)
